The DOE has many resources for Energy Efficiency, one of which is the “Better Plants Challenge”, similar to the “Better Buildings Challenge” but structured more for manufacturing/industrial type facilities. There are many large companies who have the seen the financial benefits of participating in the “BPC”, they are now expanding to include America’s water systems! Energy Efficiency is an important aspect of maintaining competitive in a world economy.
